Q: WHAT IS imageWARE EMC?
A: Canon’s imageWARE Enterprise Management Console (EMC) is a highly scalable Web-based management utility capable of installing and managing multiple Canon and third-party networked devices on customer networks. EMC provides a core framework of basic device management and device configuration services with the goal of enabling an organization’s IT administrator to lessen the cost of managing multiple devices.
Q: WHAT SHOULD MY CUSTOMER KNOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING IMAGEWARE EMC?

A: Although this software is being provided free for download by any interested party, it is specifically intended for download and use by an IT systems administrator with an expert IT knowledge including database knowledge. The software is designed to benefit IT administrators supporting offices with numerous Canon and third-party networked devices; it will not offer any meaningful benefit to an individual consumer.
Additionally, please note that specified imageCLASS models supporting Canon’s imageWARE Enterprise Management Console (EMC) do not currently support additional imageWARE plug-ins your customer may find elsewhere, including on the Canon U.S.A. website.
Please confirm that your customer meets required “Product Compatibility” and “System Requirements” (specifications in separate tabs) before recommending imageWARE EMC.
